Jessica Mauboy does Australia proud in Eurovision Grand Final

Overnight in Lisbon, Portugal, Jessica took to the stage to perform her emotive, uplifting and powerful anthem We Got Love alongside 25 other Grand Finalists.
The scores of the voting juries and viewing public in 43 countries including Australia were combined for the official results.
Netta from Israel was crowned Eurovision winner with her song Toy' being awarded 529 points. Cyprus took out second place, and Austria came in third.
Jessica Mauboy said:
This has become one of the greatest moments of joy and pride in my life - I loved every minute and felt the support of Australia every step of the way.

Australian Head of Delegation Paul Clarke said:
It was disappointing that we didn't score higher with the public vote, as by any standards Jessica was one of the best singers of the night.
I'm very proud of her, she couldn't have represented us better, and I thank her for her generosity of spirit.
In my eyes and the eyes of Australia she was a total winner, a total star.
SBS's primetime Grand Final broadcast airs tonight at 7.30pm AEST on SBS. Myf Warhurst and Joel Creasey will be in the commentary booth to guide viewers through all the acts in the Grand Final, and will also report backstage with exclusive interviews, gossip with contestants and a behind the scenes look at the contest.
