The Real Housewives of Gqeberha show is here! The show is scheduled to premiere on 3 February on 1Magic.

Anyone familiar with the franchise knows that the housewives are stinking rich.

Some South African fans of the housewives franchise were curious to know if the ladies' statuses in the upcoming show matched the standards set by other housewives, i.e. The Real Housewives of Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Cape Town.

WHO ARE THE CAST MEMBERS OF THE SHOW? Ashleigh Mather, Unathi Faku, Norma Nicol, Liz Prins, and Buli G Ngomane were cast to be part of The Real Housewives of Gqeberha.

Taking to her social media, Manther said,

Wow! Where do I begin with my story. This past year took me on many rollercoaster rides but my greatest achievement is being part of this amazing brand

It was hard for me to keep this adventure under wraps but it's finally out there.

I have so many people to thank but mostly I have to thank my amazing husband for being my biggest support system during this time .

-- Unathi Faku The reportedly self-proclaimed Gqeberha royalty is a successful businesswoman. She owns a salon and is married to the former mayor of Gqeberha, ANC member Christopher Nceba Faku.

The former mayor was accused of misusing council funds for personal use, Mail & Guardian reported in 2021.

Talking about the show on her social media, Faku said,
