Telos Alliance Announces Telos VX Duo Broadcast Phone System

Cleveland, Ohio (August 7, 2024) - Telos Alliance , trusted global leader in broadcast audio for more than three decades, announced its brand new VoIP broadcast phone system, the Telos VX Duo.
For over a decade, broadcasters worldwide have relied upon Telos VX VoIP phone systems to bring phone calls into their facilities and get them on the air with the highest possible audio quality.
As the newest member of the Telos VX family of products, VX Duo brings the same user experience and high-quality audio as our flagship VX Enterprise system at a price point that puts VoIP within the reach of any budget.
With the non-stop price increases for everything delivered over legacy copper phone lines, we wanted to make sure that all broadcasters, even those with modest tech budgets, are able to capture the savings offered by VoIP, said Robbie Green, Telos Alliance Product Manager. VX Duo makes that possible, and as a bonus, offers increased reliability and higher-quality call audio than aging analog solutions.
Built on a compact and silent platform specifically designed for in-studio use, VX Duo can be placed on any studio or control room surface, and up to three units can be placed side-by-side on a single rack-mount shelf.
Livewire+ AES67-equipped studios can send and receive audio directly over the AoIP network via one of VX Duo's two Ethernet ports, while the other provides connectivity to VoIP services. Telos VSet phones, integrated console call controllers, and VX-compatible call screening software all integrate seamlessly with VX Duo, as does our Axia Pathfinder Core Pro Broadcast Controller for building HTML5-based control panels.
VX Duo comes equipped with two channels/hybrids and is expandable to eight channels/hybrids in two-channel increments via expansion licenses, making it well-suited for a single studio (as two separate caller faders on the board) or split between two studios, such as an AM/FM combo, or a control room and production studio.
Configuring VX Duo to work with high-quality cloud VoIP providers is simple and straightforward, even for those with limited VoIP experience.
Customers may order VX Duo immediately from our worldwide network of Telos channel partners, with delivery expected in October 2024.
