BT Sport has retained the rights to the UEFA Champions League and Europa League for another three seasons.

BT will pay £400 million each year for the rights, around the same figure the broadcaster paid for the 2018-2021 rights.

It also includes the rights to UEFA's new Europa Conference League.

BT Sport will continue to show every game live as well as highlights from matches in 2021-2024.

It's thought BT faced opposition from the likes of Sky, ITV and DAZN to acquire the latest rights package.
