Part One of this (seven part) introductory course for Apple Motion users who are new to Blender, in which we'll create 3D scene elements in Blender and bring them into Motion for the rest of the 3D build and animation. Although it's not a very plausible spaceship, this tutorial project will provide a very useful tour of a range of key concepts and workflows.

Part Two of this introductory course for Apple Motion users who are new to Blender, in which we'll create 3D scene elements in Blender and bring them into Motion for the rest of the 3D build and animation. Blender Apple Motion: Spaceship Tutorial part 5

In this fifth installment of this introductory course for Apple Motion users who are new to Blender we'll be looking at using Blender's powerful texture paint to give our spaceship a worn and battered look.

Please note that my suggested method for creating the Normal Map using Normal Map Online is probably not the best way to go, as I will demonstrate in the next part.
