The ninth season of Winter Love Island UK kicked off on Monday (16 January), and the show has already added three new bombshells to shake things up.

CATCH UP: WHAT'S THE LATEST ON LOVE ISLAND'? Winter Love Island UK is filmed in South Africa. The five girls and boys were challenged to pair up into five couples.

During the first episode, the show's host Maya Jama, arrived with the shocking announcement that a new member would be joining the Cape Town villa. Before the end of the first episode, bombshell footballer Tom Clare entered the Islander's villa and was tasked to choose who he would couple up with.

Actress Olivia Hawkins who had coupled with farmer Will Young was snatched by the newbie. As a result, Will was left in the dust and alone. According to Daily Mail, Love Island producers said,

It makes the show really exciting to watch and gives those in the villa a chance to stray if they're not content with the person they're with.

WHO ARE THE NEW BOMBSHELLS ON THE SHOW? The producers of the show weren't messing around in this latest season, and by the end of week one, two new bombshells were added to the mix.

According to Daily Mail, one of the new contestants include London-based Zara (25). She is a Model and Property Developer and reportedly has high standards. She promises to add some spice to the Islander's pad.

Speaking on ITV, the bombshell reportedly said,

I'm an amazing girlfriend. I'm understanding, caring, fun, and sexy.

-- 24-year-old Money Advisor David also joined the cast and shared that he looked forward to enjoying good vibes.

I haven't met the right one yet. The person you're going to meet is never going to be perfect, he said.
