Cuatro producciones de RTVE son finalistas en el Festival Internacional de Televisi n y Cine de Nueva York: la serie The Ministry of time, la tvmovie Teresa, el reportaje Nisman de En Portada, y la serie documental Roman engineering. El certamen ha anunciado los finalistas de su edici n de 2016, cuyos ganadores se dar n a conocer el pr ximo 19 de abril en Las Vegas.
The Ministry of time es finalista en la categor a de Drama. La serie producida por TVE en colaboraci n con Onza Entertainment, idea original de Javier Olivares y dirigida por Marc Vigil, est emitiendo su segunda temporada en La 1, con nuevos viajes a lo largo de la Historia de Espa a. Al reconocimiento del p blico y el fen meno fan minist rico que ha despertado, se suma el aplauso del sector, con importantes galardones como el Premio Ondas.
Teresa est nominada en el apartado de tvmovies. Una coproducci n de TVE y La Cometa TV, dirigida por Jorge Dorado, que ofreci una nueva visi n de Santa Teresa y que se estren el a o pasado coincidiendo con el V Centenario de su nacimiento. Mari n lvarez se puso en la piel de Teresa de Jes s, acompa ada en el reparto por Antonio de la Torre, Aitana S nchez Gij n, Terele P vez y David Luque.
En Portada opta a uno de los premios en la categor a de Pol tica, por el reportaje Nisman en el que el programa investigaba la muerte del fiscal argentino Alberto Nisman, que quiso imputar a Cristina Fern ndez de Kirchner. Un viaje por Argentina e Israel en busca de testimonios sobre esa compleja trama y todas las hip tesis que rodean la muerte del fiscal. Con gui n de Jos Antonio Guardiola y realizaci n de Susana Jim nez Pons, se estren en la pasada temporada de En Portada', que en sus m s de 30 a os de trayectoria ha recogido numerosos galardones, incluidos el Ondas y reconocimientos en anteriores ediciones del Festival de Nueva York.
Y la serie documental Roman engineering es finalista en la categor a de Artes. Se trata de una coproducci n de TVE, Digivisi n y Structuralia sobre los desaf os que afrontaron los ingenieros romanos al levantar sus colosales obras: desde los acueductos de Nimes o Segovia, al Teatro Romano de M rida, a trav s de sus carreteras y puentes. Dirigida por Jos Antonio Mu iz y presentada por Isaac Moreno, la serie ha generado, adem s, el primer proyecto transmedia con v deos de realidad virtual y aumentada del Lab de RTVE.es.
