Intesis revolutionized the building automation market with the launch of its 700 Series, a versatile line of gateways that seamlessly integrate multiple communication protocols within a single hardware platform. The 700 Series, featuring advanced protocol translators and HVAC gateways, offers users unprecedented flexibility, enabling them to select and configure the necessary protocols through the intuitive Intesis MAPS software. This innovation significantly reduces configuration time, enhances energy efficiency, and simplifies inventory management for distributors by consolidating multiple functionalities into one unit. With this launch, Intesis has set a new standard in the integration and management of HVAC and building automation systems.
In 2022, Intesis unveiled a groundbreaking redesign of its traditional protocol translators and Multi-Indoor Unit AC gateways to provide flexible and cost-effective solutions for its customers. The Intesis 700 Series features a range of gateways with common connectivity, allowing users to easily select the protocols they need through an intuitive configuration software, Intesis MAPS.
Key Innovations:
The key innovation that Intesis introduced to the building automation market with the 700Series gateways is the integration of advanced, flexible, and highly scalable communication capabilities across various protocols, all available in the same hardware. The 700Series gateways are designed to bridge different communication standards, enabling seamless interoperability between HVAC systems, building management systems (BMS), and other field devices within a building.
For Protocol Translators, enable the user to select the combination between the protocol of the field devices and the protocol towards the control system.
For the HVAC gateways, it enables the user to select the brand and protocol combination.
Some advantages of the Intesis 700 Series:
Stock-Friendly: With multiple protocols and AC brand combinations available for each hardware unit, our distributors can now maintain a more versatile inventory to meet the diverse needs of system integrators, BMS manufacturers, energy efficiency companies, and more.
One single configuration tool: The powerful Intesis MAPS configuration and diagnostics tool simplifies the installation process, eliminating the need for installers to learn how to use and navigate different tools for their integration projects.
Reduce configuration time: The MAPS scanning feature significantly reduces configuration time by automatically detecting connected units and their control signals.
700series - Protocol translators
The first family of these new products were released by the end of 2022 at L&B exhibition in Frankfurt, Intesis launched its two first 700series families: the IN700485 and the IN701KNX protocol translators.
Dont waste money paying for a gateway with a bigger capacity than what you need.
The IN700485 and IN701KNX are designed to meet your projects specific needs. With various licensing options available based on the number of signals (up to 100, 250, 600, 1200 or 3000 points) or the number of DALI-2 devices (up to 64 or 128), you always will find a gateway matching you projects size.

700series Air - HVAC multi-Indoor units control
With HVAC systems accounting for up to 40% of a buildings energy consumption, Intesis HVAC gateways enhance both efficiency and user comfort:
Connectivity & Control: integrate HVAC systems into any BMS or home automation system for optimal performance.
Energy Efficiency: Reduce energy usage and costs with the power estimation algorithm implemented within the 700Series Air gateways, that estimates the energy consumption of each indoor unit enabling the BMS to improve its control capabilities.
Human Well-Being: Create a personalized and comfortable indoor climate in your spaces by integrating the HVAC system with all its communication variables and features.

The Intesis 700 Series Air, designed in collaboration with leading AC manufacturers are bidirectional centralized HVAC gateways that allow you to select from the top AC brands and four major building automation protocols: BACnet, Modbus, KNX, and WMP to work with. The WMP protocol is particularly noteworthy, as it utilizes Intesis open ASCII format for effortless integration of AC units into IP-based home automation systems.
Cut the costs of products, cabling, and labor by using one single gateway to integrate complex HVAC systems with several indoor units into your building or home automation management system, without losing the individual control of the indoor units.
The Intesis 700series Air provides full-feature HVAC integration ensuring energy savings and complete system control for any building size:
License Capacity Example of target installations
XXS Up to 4 indoor units Convenience stores, retail, and residential.
Small Up to 16 indoor units Villas, offices, and data centers.
Medium Up to 64 indoor units Commercial, corporate, hospitals, and universities.
Large Up to 128 indoor units Large-scale offices, residential, and industrial buildings.
Reduce configuration and commission time thanks to the Intesis MAPS scan function: this feature detects all the units connected to the VRF/VRV system and imports this information along with their control signals and outdoor unit indicators.
Additionally, the advanced Intesis Power Estimation Algorithm empowers you to enhance energy savings by identifying and targeting the highest energy consumers within your building. Experience the future of HVAC management with Intesis-where efficiency meets innovation!
