KDDI announced the financial results for the fiscal year ended March 2018.

Summary In the fiscal year ended March 31, 2018, consolidated operating revenue increased 6.2% year on year, to 5,042.0 billion. Consolidated operating income was up 5.5%, to 962.8 billion mainly due to the revenue increase of mobile communications revenues, value-added APRA revenues, profit increase of the Business Services segment and Global Services segment.

To achieve our medium-term plan,toward the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019 (CAGR [1] 7% growth in operating income and dividend payout ratio over 35%),the Company projects a consolidated operating revenue of 5,150.0 billion (yoy 2.1%) and an operating income of 1,020.0 billion (yoy 5.9%) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019.

We also plan dividends per share of 100 (dividend payout ratio 38.8%,yoy 10) for the year as well.

And the board of directors of KDDI Corporation at its meeting held on today,resolved that we will repurchase its own shares up to 150 billion yen.
