Meishan Advertising Transaction Center starts construction

Recently, the Meishan Advertising Transaction Center, jointly-invested by the managing committee of the Meishan Bonded Zone, the Elephant Advertising Co. Ltd. and China Advertising Association, has been officially launched, marking the rise of the cultural and creative industry in the Ningbo International Marine Ecological Science and Technology City.

With a total investment of three billion yuan, the project is to take up 23 mu with a floor area of 53,000 square meters, and include the cultural and creative building, the advertising transaction center, the entrepreneurial incubator center, and the industrial fund and creative package platform. According to a person in charge from the management of the science and technology city, in terms of function, the project will build a complete cultural and creative industrial chain by integrating advertising elements transaction, cultural and creative R&D and design, industrial finance, business incubation, and venture investment.

"In accordance with the internet + industry + finance model, and with the financing trade as the main means, the project will achieve a 100 million yuan investment for the first phase." said the same person in charge. By 2017, 300 enterprises will have settled down in the incubation park, including 50 with the sales volume of over 100 million yuan, and the annual trade volume will exceed 10 billion yuan with over 10,000 traders in various forms.

"The platform connects internet with advertising, and the application of the big data instead of the traditional on-the-spot bidding will lead to a more transparent information exchange and fairer trade." said the official. According to planning, the project will be built as a transaction center for advertising and the cultural and creative industry, an agglomeration area for the cultural and creative enterprises, a display window for cultural and creative achievements, an incubation area for new cultural and creative enterprises, and a collecting and issuing platform for public welfare advertisements.
