Licensing Activity for Moose Toys' Hit Brand Shopkins Sizzles with Nearly 15 New Deals and Five Sub-Agents Across Europe
Toronto, Canada - Corus Entertainment's Nelvana, a world-leading international producer and distributor of children's animated and live-action content, has been appointed Master Agent for Moose Toys' multi-award-winning brand Shopkins across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA, excluding the UK and Ireland). As lead agent, Nelvana will continue to build upon the global success of the hot property, known for its adorable miniature, grocery-themed collectibles for girls ages 5-10, extending the reach of the irresistible characters into more consumer products categories for young fans to enjoy in creative new ways.

Nelvana and its agents around the EMEA have already sealed numerous new licensing deals for Shopkins. In France, the company helped secure partnerships with Canal Toys (stationary products); ATM (seasonal and outdoor bags, including handbags, sport & shopping bags); and Prime (charms, including mini porcelain figurines). Nelvana also finalized a Pan European deal with BonBon Buddies (confectionary) as well as Ravensburger (2D & 3D puzzles).
In Benelux region, a consumer products program was locked in with Van der Erve (apparel); Vadobag (back-to-school bags such as backpacks, shoulder bags and sports bags); Canenco (stationary items); and Boti (electronic games). In the Middle East, deals were closed with First Kid (backpacks products, wallets, and stationary items) and Toy Triangle (plush). Newly signed in Germany is Paxos (back-to-school bags and backpacks, pencil cases and wallets). In Greece, contracts have been signed with Ioannidis (apparel) and GIM (back-to-school bags, stationary and gifts).
