At IBC show Broadcast Solutions presents the new Streamline S12T model at their outdoor stand O.E02. With over 45 units built and on the road, the Streamline concept is the world's most successful OB Van series. The new S12T model is based on a 26-ton self-driving truck with a single expansion box-body buildup. The S12T works with up to 12 4K/UHD cameras based on 12G-SDI UHD Single Link and offers sufficient 3G-SDI Quad Link gateways for monitoring purposes.

With this new model, Broadcast Solutions once again makes use of innovative and future-driven technology combined with flexible workspace and room layouts. All decisions of the Broadcast Solutions team aim at maximising the use of space and resources within the vehicle, thus offering sufficient space for teams of up to 14 people working conveniently.

Materializing the S12T the Broadcast Solutions team conceived an OB Van that offers the best of both worlds: a highly advanced yet compact coach building with sophisticated production and room concepts that incorporate the latest broadcast technology for live TV production. The resulting OB Van offers maximum flexibility in a future-proof production tool.

Deploying a small form factor yet powerful switching capabilities a Ross Ultrix router is at the core of the OB Van, taking care of video/audio routing, multiviewers and embedding/de-embedding. The production is equipped with a Grass Valley Kahuna 6400 (2ME) video switcher whereas the audio section trusts in a Lawo mc2 56 MKII console. A Riedel Artist system and Draco tera equipment are taking care of communication and connection.

As a first in the Streamline family of OB Vans, Broadcast Solutions' self-developed control system hi is used in the S12T. hi controls all production-relevant areas in the vehicle such as video/audio router, multiviewers and tally. Intuitive touch controls and newly developed hi hardware control panels simplify day-to-day production operations in the OB Vans.
