Katie Vitolins Announced as Vice President of Alumni Products and Services An alumna and former trustee, Vitolins will lead the relaunch of Berklee's alumni engagement platform.

Berklee has named Katie Vitolins BM '04 as its new vice president of alumni services, effective January 20, 2026. Drawing on two decades of experience at industry-leading companies, Vitolins will lead the transformation of the institution's alumni engagement platform, delivering expanded services, resources and career support to Berklee graduates.

There is unique momentum at Berklee right now under President Luccheses leadership, and I am honored to have an opportunity to support and collaborate with our incredible global alumni community, said Vitolins. Together with senior leadership, I look forward to strengthening the resources that help our alumni build enduring careers.

Since graduating from Berklee in 2004, Vitolins has held senior leadership roles at the intersection of music and technology. Most recently, she led Fan Commerce at Amazon Music, overseeing the integration of music merchandise into the streaming app, as well as the development of new digital products for artists to engage with fans. Previous to that role, Vitolins launched Amazon Music for Artists, providing the music industry with self-service tools to grow, engage, and monetize artist businesses on Amazon. Prior to Amazon, Vitolins served as head of artist and label services at Spotify for North America, where she played a key role in the industry's early adoption of streaming music.

Katie brings a combination of deep industry expertise, platform-building experience, and a passion for Berklee and our community, said President Jim Lucchese. She has built systems that help artists and creators grow sustainable careers. That perspective will be invaluable as we seek to set a new standard for how Berklee supports alumni at every stage of their professional lives.

Earlier in her career, Vitolins held positions at Universal Music Group and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music, with a focus on ethnomusicology, and recently served as a Berklee trustee.
