Appear, a global leader in live production technology, is pleased to announce the appointment of Shakunt Malhotra as Vice President for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. In this role, Shakunt will spearhead Appear's strategic growth across the APAC market, focusing on delivering customised media solutions built around Appear's commitment to customer excellence.

Malhotra joins Appear following a distinguished 18-year tenure at Globecast, where he held multiple senior leadership roles, most recently as Managing Director for Asia. With extensive experience managing and delivering complex projects - including satellite and fibre link deployments, cloud-based playout systems, and large-scale facility expansions Malhotra is ideally equipped to replicate Appear's success in North America and Europe to the APAC region.
