Existe-t-il un site Kickstarter France distinct ?
Non, les projets fran ais rejoindront la communaut Kickstarter mondiale ! Mais si vous ne souhaitez voir que les projets Kickstarter qui se d roulent en France, vous pouvez filtrer par emplacement g ographique. Le site Web de Kickstarter sera aussi propos en fran ais pour faciliter encore plus les lancements et les financements.
Puis-je lancer un projet en fran ais ?
Absolument ! Choisissez la langue qui convient le mieux votre projet. Cela dit, une traduction de votre description et de vos r compenses pourrait tre utile. Vous pouvez aussi utiliser notre outil de sous-titrage pour rendre votre projet plus accessible. Kickstarter est une communaut mondiale. Si vous ajoutez des traductions votre projet, vous pourrez atteindre un public plus large.
Quelle sera la devise des projets fran ais ?
Leuro. Les cr ateurs pourront travailler en euros, passer par leurs banques et sinscrire en utilisant leurs coordonn es locales. Les fonds des projets int gralement financ s seront vers s en euros.

Absolument. Nous prenons la vie priv e des membres de notre communaut tr s au s rieux. Nous vous invitons lire notre Politique de confidentialit pour plus de d tails.
Stripe, notre partenaire de traitement des paiements, applique aussi les normes les plus strictes du secteur en mati re de s curit . Les donn es que vous nous fournissez lorsque vous contribuez un projet ou quand vous configurez votre compte pour cr er un projet sont prot g es par le protocole logiciel SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), une technologie de pointe qui chiffre vos informations personnelles.
Si vous souhaitez faire une contribution anonyme, nous vous conseillons de choisir un nom de profil qui ne permet pas de vous identifier (par exemple : lechatbott ).
Quels sont les types de projets financ s sur Kickstarter ?
Kickstarter permet de financer des projets cr atifs r partis en 15 grandes cat gories. Nous avons mis en place quelques r gles pour encadrer les projets. Kickstarter permet de cr er des uvres ou des objets. Notre site ne sert ni aux lev es de fonds caritatives, ni aux investissements.
Qui peut lancer un projet ?
Presque tout le monde. Il y a juste quelques r gles suivre : vous devez tre g de 18 ans ou plus et tre domicili en France. Votre projet doit tre lanc votre nom (personne physique) ou au nom dune personne morale qui a un num ro dentreprise. Vous aurez galement besoin dune adresse postale, de coordonn es bancaires et dune carte bancaire (cr dit ou d bit).
Quels sont les moyens de paiement accept s pour les contributions ?
lheure actuelle, nous acceptons les cartes Visa, MasterCard et American Express.
Quels sont les frais ?
Kickstarter ne pr l ve des frais que si le projet est financ int gralement. Si cest le cas, nos frais s l vent 5 %. Nos partenaires charg s du traitement des paiements pr l vent eux aussi des frais, qui varient en fonction du pays. En France :
3 % 0,20 par contribution. Les contributions inf rieures 10 sont soumises des frais de micro-contribution de 5 % 0,05 par engagement.
Si le projet nest pas financ int gralement, il ny a pas de frais.

We're so excited to announce that Kickstarter is now open to French makers, innovators, filmmakers, chefs and creators of all types! French creators can start building their projects now, and launch them to the world on May 27. It's an understatement to say that France has had an enormous impact on global culture. From art to film to food to fashion, we're thrilled to help French culture thrive on a global stage.
Now, some frequently asked questions - and answers!
Is there a separate Kickstarter site for France?
No - French projects are part of the worldwide community of Kickstarter projects! But if you only want to see projects from home, you can always search Kickstarter by location. Kickstarter will also be translated into French to make launching and backing projects even easier!
Can I start a project in French?
Sure! You can use whatever language works best for your project. But we encourage you to think about including translations of your description and rewards, or using our Captions and Subtitles tool tool to make your project video more accessible. Kickstarter is a global community, and including translations definitely helps your project have a wider appeal.
What currency will French projects be listed in?
Euro. Creators can run their projects entirely in euro, using their local banking and business details. When projects are successfully funded, pledges will be collected in euro, too.
Is the information that I share on Kickstarter secure?
Absolutely. We take the privacy of our community very seriously, and wed welcome you to read our Privacy Policy for more details.
Stripe, our payments partner, also meets and exceeds the most stringent industry standards for security. Information that you provide while pledging or while setting up the account details for your project is protected by an industry-standard software protocol called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which encrypts your personal information.
If youd like to pledge anonymously, wed recommend setting your profile name to something thats not identifiable (example: CatBird10).
