A successful meeting among Sensio, CCTV and Leonis on 3D Live Broadcast in China Date2013-02-22 AuthorOriginal Site Recently, LEONIS and CCTV, Canada SENSIO held a second conference at LEONIS headquarters in Beijing on 3D live broadcast. The three parties reached a further agreement about how to implement 3D live broadcast in China.

This conference is sponsored by LEONIS Beijing information technology co., ltd. In the previous meeting, the three parties have achieved agreement in the 3D live broadcast. The conference aims to discuss the 3D live broadcast operation flow, and to refine the details of the tripartite cooperation. After a heated discussion, the three parties reached a consensus in the broadcast technology, program copyright and promotion channels. CCTV and SENSIO believe, in support of LEONIS technology, 3D live broadcast about NBA finals and the 2014 World Cup in Brazil will soon be implemented, which would fill the gaps in China market.
3D live broadcast, as a new application of digital technology, has been optimistic about the industry. Prior to the 2010 South Africa World Cup and the 2012 London Olympic Games achieved 3D live broadcast, let many of the audience could not visit the venue to enjoy shocking experience. The huge success of London Olympic Games live 3D broadcast make a lot of people to recognize the potential of this market. For China, 3D live broadcast still have been a blank. The LEONIS, CCTV and SENSIO cooperation make it possible to enjoy a big event in the theater broadcast .It will be an important turning point of 3D technology market.
