Jiangbei Builds Rallying Platform for Cultural Industries

Recently, the idle old plant in Baoma road, Kongpu community, Jiangbei district is speeding up its reconstruction. Formally belonging to Ningbo Best Textile Co., Ltd, the plant will be transformed into Cultural Innovation Park No.8 providing high-quality office spaces for enterprises engaging in cultural and technological innovation.

Chen Xuelian, new owner of the plant and CEO of Ningbo Ao Gao Culture Co., Ltd, has invited a design team that used to be in charge of Park 798 from Beijing to reconstruct the plant. The external decoration is about to be completed in June 2016. The entire park will present an original LOFT style by that time. Though still under construction, the park has started inviting enterprises. The invitation is not official, however many excellent enterprises are showing great interest. , introduced Chen.

Cultural industry has turned into a new growth point for Jiangbei district. A couple of days ago, Jiangbei district released Some Suggestions to Improve the Construction of a Strong Cultural District in the hope that Jiangbei Culture will push forward a Cultural Jiangbei . During the 13th Five Year Plan, Jinagbei district will advocate the leading role of culture, foster new cultural consumption modes through integral development of aspects such as Culture Life , Culture City Construction , Culture Sports , Culture Technology and Culture Tourism and so on.

Under the demand of Reasonable layout, clear role definition, feature-oriented development , Jiangbei district will focus on building a rallying platform for ten cultutal industries, namely, the pan-old Bund cultural fashion industry circle, cluster area for Cicheng cultural tourism industry, cluster area for Baosun leisure and well-being industry, manufacturing base for industrial zone stationery commodity, Ningbo e-commerce cultural innovation park, Ningbo Olympic sports center culture and sports base, industrial relics cultural innovative park on north shore of river Yong , innovation park 1956, cultural innovation park No.8, Shikumen movie and TV base NO.1.

For the in-depth exploration and development of historic and cultural relics, during the 13th Five Year Plan, Jiangbei district will accelerate the utilization and protection of famous historic streets, towns and villages such as Cicheng ancient county, Old Bund of Ningbo, Baoguo temple, Zhongma and Baisha historic streets, Banpu, Tongjia, Yaojia and Majing ancient villages and so on. Jinagbei district would also promote facilities construction of Juzhang ancient-city site, Fujia mountain site, Dayunhe and Xiaoxiba relic park, Yasaiyan and Dayunhe heritage exhibition area and so on. Meanwhile, Jiangbei district would also push forward the protection and development of industrial storage section on north Yong river, Cicheng cement plant, Cicheng hydrology team.
