2016 China Science Technology Business Plan Competition cum Angel China (Ningbo Division) Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition opened recently. The competition is organized by Angel China and Municipal Administration and Service Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Under the theme of scientific innovation, it is divided into three stages: project collection, regional competitions and final competition, involving three industries including intelligent manufacturing, new material and Internet + service industry . The competition will last 5 months, with its final held in Ningbo in September.
The first two stages starts from May 3rd to Sept. 5th, ending up with a shortlist of 40 projects selected from the four regional competitions in Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Ningbo. Winners of the first, second and third prize will be awarded in the final and introduced to Ningbo National High-tech Zone. They will also receive policy support that helps them to settle their business there. Besides, outstanding projects may also be enrolled in the High-tech Elite Plan and the 3315 Plan of Ningbo. Generally, rewards will be given as appropriate.
The review committee of the competition comprises business partners of nearly 100 investment institutions, involving over 300 institutional investors.
It's reported that since 2002, China Science Technology Business Plan Competition, centered in Ningbo, has influenced over 30 provinces across China and over 10 counties abroad. Also it received full acknowledgement from entrepreneurs and attracted a wealth of high-tech enterprises with a promising prospect of industrialization.
