RTI Delivers Robust Climate Control With Aprilaire Two-Way Driver

Driver Seamlessly Integrates Aprilaire WiFi Thermostats into RTI Control Systems

SHAKOPEE, Minn. - May 30, 2018 - RTI, a leading control and automation manufacturer for residential and commercial settings, today announced the availability of a two-way driver for Aprilaire's line of WiFi enabled thermostats. The interface allows integrators to add the thermostats into the RTI control and automation ecosystem and provide clients with the comfort and convenience of Aprilaire's air purity and freshness features along with temperature and humidity controls.

Aprilaire is one of the leading HVAC systems for high-end residential installations and a long-time integration partner of ours, said Mike Everett, vice president of sales, Americas for RTI. With this partnership, we're able to deliver a powerful driver that takes full advantage of their climate control capabilities and give our dealers the ability to offer their clients an extra level of comfort in their homes.

Developed by RTI, the two-way driver allows the RTI system to monitor and control Aprilaire's four newest WiFi thermostat models via RTI's line of control interfaces, including the companys RTiPanel app smart devices. This allows users to conveniently access and adjust the temperature, humidity, and optional air purity and freshness functions for added comfort and energy efficiency.
