
A score of companies attend the Audiovisual international meeting 2015 This meeting, organized by Extenda-Agencia Andaluza de Promoci n Exterior, is held within the framework of the Festival of European cinema in Seville (SEFF).
A score of Andalusian companies in the audiovisual sector are involved in the Audiovisual international meeting 2015organized by the Ministry of economy and knowledge, through Andalusian Extenda-Agency for overseas promotion, within the framework of the Festival of European cinema in Seville (SEFF).
This business event, which has started today in the Sorolla lounge of the Hotel Hesperia Sevilla, and runs until Wednesday 11, will unveil the Andalusian audiovisual offer to eight international operators from Germany, France, Italy, United Kingdom and Spain.
Vanessa Bernad, Managing Director of Extenda inaugurated this Monday the meeting alongside Lorena Gonz lez, Director general of the Institute of cinematography and of the arts audiovisual (ICAA), of the Ministry of culture and sport; Victoria Fernandez, Director of creative Europe Desk Andalusia; and Jos Luis Cienfuegos, director of the Seville European Film Festival.
The Managing Director of Extenda said that "we support internationalization of the audiovisual andaluz to other traditional sectors for its high professionalism and high-quality projects, and meetings like this that we celebrate since 2009, we intend to increase the Andalusian presence in international markets".
"This appointment is part of the Plan of actions of the internationalization of the Andalusian cultural industries support, designed by Extenda alongside the Andalusian Agency for cultural institutions, which allowed celebrate 27 actions, involving 235 community businesses in 2014. The Andalusian producers participating in this meeting come from Seville (cashew; Art Sonora studies; Azhar Media; Horizon & Nature Films Entertainment; The suitcase; The oblique gaze; Lemendu; Lovetheframe; Mettre; Cybele productions; Producer grotesque; Promic image; Tarkemoto and each Films). In addition, to assist companies in the provinces of Almer a (32 stories productions; KMPC; and Egoa Films); Malaga (MLK productions; and Danidogfilms); and Cadiz (Jesus Sotomayor).
The international delegation is composed of eight operators coming from Germany (Patra Spanou Film Marketing & Consulting and Picture Tree International); France (Memento Films and Wide Management); Italy (The Open Reel); United Kingdom (London Film Market); and Spain (Youfeelm and Noucinemart).
Agenda
The meeting consists of two types of activities: on the one hand, round tables and presentations on the distribution of audiovisual products in Europe in charge of leading practitioners in the sector at the international level, such as Christophe Leparc, Secretary general of the Quinzaine des R alisateurs, a section attached to the Cannes Film Festival; or Valerio Caruso, director of the specialized Cineuropa, among others.
