New TVU Brazilian office to give local regional assistance during the Games posted: 01/03/2016
TVU Networks, a global technology leader in live IP video transmission solutions, will offer on-location customer support and equipment rentals for the Summer Games, to be held this August in Rio de Janeiro. The company will provide its 3G/4G LTE wireless uplink equipment and deliver dedicated WiFi/Microwave Mesh bandwidth from strategic locations in the Brazilian city throughout the Games. The company will also provide its TVU Grid solution for a cost-effective way of backhauling full HD live video footage. Additionally, technical support personnel will be on-location before, during, and after the Summer Games to fully support TVU customers. TVU recently opened a new office in Brazil and will use it for fast customer support deployment.

TVU is offering several rental program packages through its Global Rental Program designed to meet the unique needs of broadcasters for the Summer Games. Furthermore, customer will be able to leverage the TVU Grid infrastructure to send live HD video to anywhere in the world. The company is offering promotional Early Bird pricing for packages booked before March 31st. Broadcasters may also reserve packages through June.
