Netflix Gets Exclusive FIFA World Cup 2030 Rights in Spain and Andorra

Netflix will exclusively broadcast every match of the FIFA World Cup 2030 in Spain and Andorra. The tournament marks the 100th anniversary of the World Cup and runs June 8 to July 21, 2030. Spain, the defending champion from the 2026 tournament, is one of three host nations alongside Morocco and Portugal.

Netflix will offer full live coverage, including pregame, halftime, and postgame shows, a daily roundup show on match days, and additional programming in the lead-up to the tournament. To honor the centenary, Uruguay (the 1930 host and champion), Argentina (the 1930 runner-up), and Paraguay (home of CONMEBOL, the only confederation in 1930) will each host a centenary celebration match.

Netflix will also be the exclusive home of the FIFA Women's World Cup in the U.S. and Canada in 2027 and 2031. Coverage will feature English and Spanish-language telecasts in the U.S. and English and French-language telecasts in Canada. Netflix will broadcast the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027 Final Draw on Dec. 11.

Netflix's soccer catalog includes Under Pressure: The U.S. Women's World Cup Team, which documents the squad's effort to win the 2023 title, as well as Emi Mart nez: The Kid Who Stops Time, James., and Ronaldinho: The One and Only. The sports documentary series Untold has covered English soccer through the stories of Jamie Vardy, Liverpool's 2005 Champions League-winning team, and Vinnie Jones.
