
WO Traffic Replaces Legacy System for Largest Radio Broadcasting Operation Targeting African-American and Urban Listeners San Francisco, April 8, 2013 WideOrbit Inc., the leading provider of advertising management software for media companies, is pleased to announce that Radio One, Inc. has selected WO Traffic, WideOrbit's leading advertising sales, traffic and revenue management solution, for all of its 55 stations that span 16 urban markets. Radio One is migrating all of its radio stations from its dispersed legacy systems to a single WO Traffic system, which will allow the company to view real-time, consolidated reporting, maximize revenue and inventory, and optimize performance across all of its stations and markets.
With this contract, WideOrbit now has more than 900 radio stations on WO Traffic for Radio that have been installed over the past five years. The groups adopting WO Traffic for Radio have been largely mid to large sized stations looking for improved operational efficiencies, workflow and business information solutions over their existing software systems. WideOrbit is committed to bringing advanced technology that enables stations to thrive in a multi-media, linear, on-demand and digital world.
Radio One is an urban-oriented, multi-media company with more than 55 owned or operated broadcast stations located in 16 urban markets targeting primarily African-American and urban listeners.

WO Traffic is a scalable, enterprise-wide solution that will allow Radio One to centralize its multiple stations and markets onto a single system, which will provide flexible, real-time reporting and ultimate visibility and control at all levels of its business. In addition, Radio One's stations are operating on WideOrbit radio automation platforms, with its largest markets on WO Automation for Radio, which offers an intuitive and easy-to-use interface, centralized content creation, centralized playlist creation and editing, and multi-market voice tracking. Seamless integration between WO Traffic and WO Automation for Radio will deliver numerous efficiencies to Radio One, including live log editing, streamlined dubbing of commercials and real-time spot reconciliation.
