A love story that transcends the barrier of reason. That s the theme with which Forever and Ever, a ratings success in Brazil, premiered in the Dominican Republic, on Monday, March 28. The telenovela, one of Globo s highlights for the 2016 MIPTV, is airing on the Tele Antillas channel, in the 2:00 pm time slot. In the plot, doctor Ca que (Sergio Guiz , India - A Love Story ) and journalist Laura (Nathalia Dill, Precious Pearl ) live an overwhelming passion that transcends the limits of life. An intense love that will suffer with the wrath of a jealous brother. Forever and Ever will replace Caribbean Flower, another Brazilian hit.
Known in the Dominican Republic for bringing entertainment and quality information to the audience, the Tele Antillas free-to-air channel has been investing in Globo s productions for years and has broadcast hits such as The Clone and Brazil Avenue. Empire, winner of the 2014 International Emmy, is currently airing on the channel on prime time.
In Brazil, Forever and Ever had more than 22 million viewers (source: Ibope). And it also captivated the audience on the internet. Eighteen hashtags related to the telenovela entered the Trending Topics in Brazil during the month of its premiere.
In this exciting, fun story, Ca que s life has always been filled with supernatural situations. He has been drawing the face of a woman incessantly since his childhood, even though he has never met her. Later, by chance, he meets Laura, the woman of his drawings. They are both taken by an overwhelming feeling. Everything would be perfect if the journalist wasn t already engaged to Marcos (Thiago Lacerda, Precious Pearl ), Ca que s brother. Marcos will do anything to prevent their love.
The cast of Forever and Ever also includes actors such as D bora Nascimento ( Caribbean Flower ), Edson Celulari ( Fight or Love? ), Cl udia Raia ( Brave Woman ), Mait Proen a ( Passione ), Elizabeth Savala ( Trail of Lies ), Kayky Brito ( Passione ), Guilherme Leicam ( Helena s Shadow ), and Giovanna Lancellotti ( Gabriela ), among other talents.
Globo will be located at the P0.A1 stand during the MIPTV 2016.
