PlottoFilm puts script breakdown, storyboards and AI shot generation in one browser workspace for indie filmmakers

Cenovate Inc. has introduced PlottoFilm, a web-based AI filmmaking studio that takes a project from script to storyboard to an assembled cut in a single workspace.

Previsualization for small productions usually means hopping between tools: a script breakdown in one, storyboard frames in another, then a video generator where characters and continuity have to be re-prompted shot by shot. PlottoFilm keeps that chain in one place:

Script to shots: paste a script or story idea, and PlottoFilm breaks it into scenes and a shot list.

Storyboards with consistent characters: storyboard frames are generated for each shot, and characters stay consistent from shot to shot.

Shots to film: each approved frame can be turned into a video shot, and the shots are assembled into a film for review.

Cost control: before anything is generated, PlottoFilm shows a credit quote to approve. Users can approve still frames before spending credits on video and choose which clips to export.

PlottoFilm is aimed at independent filmmakers, screenwriters, creators and small studios building previs, pitch and proof-of-concept material, short films and trailers. Templates cover formats including cinematic trailers, documentary intros, music videos, horror teasers, anime openings and product trailers. The interface is available in English, Spanish and Chinese.

Pricing and availability PlottoFilm runs in the browser. Credits can be bought pay-as-you-go at $20 per 1,000 credits with no membership. Monthly plans are Creator at $29 (2,000 credits), Studio at $79 (6,000 credits) and Production at $199 (16,000 credits). Members can top up at $15 per 1,000 credits.
