-- Innovation Day to Discuss Hybrid Workflows

Object Matrix, Vidispine, Magenta, Dynatrace and Century Link have announced that they will be hosting an innovation day in London on the 27th March. The event will focus on hybrid cloud workflows, and how media companies can integrate them in a meaningful way. The five organisations are Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partners with experience of deploying media workloads on AWS.
The event will explore hybrid cloud architecture and workflows, with a focus on the benefits for the media industry, such as the delivery of flexibility, content protection, disaster recovery and wider sharing options.

The media industry is experiencing a continued explosion of content creation and distribution meaning organisations are looking for the best solutions to them help meet the challenges that brings. We are working together to drive innovation, both on premises and public cloud (AWS), to create hybrid workflows that can make a massive difference to efficiency, flexibility, and scalability.
Hybrid workflows use a mix of on-premise and public cloud services with orchestration of content between the two platforms. Media focused hybrid cloud architectures are designed to meet the specific challenges faced by organisations, especially regarding video content. This includes high speed on premise workflows coupled with seamless synchronisation of content and metadata to public cloud.
