Cinedigm and BitTorrent Sign Promotional Partnership for Feature Film Arthur Newman LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cinedigm (NASDAQ: CIDM), the leader in the digital entertainment revolution, and BitTorrent, Inc. whose distributed and cloud technologies have been at the leading edge of digital distribution with over 170 million users, have announced a promotional partnership to support the release of ARTHUR NEWMAN, the feature film starring Colin Firth and Emily Blunt, which Cinedigm brings to theaters on April 26th.

Utilizing the BitTorrent suite of office products, Cinedigm will invite fans to view exclusively the first seven minutes of the film prior to its theatrical release. Additional materials will include stills from the film, the official movie poster and the film trailer.

ARTHUR NEWMAN follows the mid-life travails Wallace Avery (Colin Firth). Divorced, disconnected from his young son, dissatisfied with his love life, depressed and in the doldrums of middle age, he decides to make a radical change by walking away from his old life. He buys a new identity and hits the road as Arthur Newman to begin life anew, bound for Terre Haute, Indiana, where he dreams of reinventing himself. But his road trip is derailed by the entrance of Michaela Mike Fitzgerald (Emily Blunt), whom Arthur discovers passed out poolside at a seedy roadside motel. Soon romance blossoms as the unexpected couple infiltrate the lives of random strangers as a way of better grasping the essence of their own waylaid lives.

Written by Academy Award(r) nominated scribe Becky Johnston (Prince of Tides, Seven Years in Tibet) and directed by first-timer Dante Ariola, the film was produced by Vertebra Films and Cross Creek Pictures, and was executive produced by Lisa Bruce, Andy Cappuccino, Helen Cappuccino, Mac Cappuccino, Natalie G.
