Odd Machines Se Henrikson Directs a Star-Studded Cast in Feature Film Debut Pottersville

Odd Machine Co-Founder and Director, Seth Henrikson has wrapped production on his feature film debut. The film is titled Pottersville and has attracted an impressive cast of A list talent that includes Michael Shannon, Judy Greer, Tom Lennon, Ron Perlman, Christina Hendricks and Ian McShane. The script was written by Daniel Meyer which Henrikson credits as the key to assembling the powerhouse roster of actors. Across the board it was the script. Pottersville is one of those rare stories that has it all.... it's funny, it's unique, its chock full of fun characters, and it has a big heart. As soon as I read it, I knew it was made for the big screen! All the actors shared that sentiment and were immediately drawn to the project.

In Pottersville, , set during the holiday season, Maynard, a beloved local businessman, portrayed by Shannon, is mistaken for the legendary Bigfoot during an inebriated romp through town in a makeshift gorilla costume. The sightings set off an international Bigfoot media spectacle and a windfall of tourism dollars for a simple American town hit by hard times. When reality TVs "Monster Finder" Brock Masterson, played by Reno 911's Tom Lennon, arrives to hunt the "Squatch," Maynard agonizes over whether to come clean, destroying the rebirth of his beloved town, or perpetuate the inadvertent hoax.

Henrikson, first directed Shannon years ago in the award winning short Zamboni Man and they had always planned to work together again. Eventually they joined forces with screenwriter Daniel Meyer and Producer Christian Chadd Taylor to form Plot Four productions.

Pottersville was shot over 20 days in Upstate New York, produced by Ron Perlman's Wing and a Prayer Pictures in association with Jonathan Gray of Big Jack Productions, Scott Lochmus of Storyland pictures and Plot Four Productions. Henrikson is currently in post-production at Odd Machine's Chicago office and working on finishing the film for a sale later this year.

In addition to Henrikson's schedule, 2016 has been very busy for Odd Machine as they complete work for Wilson, Revlon and Jersey Mike's. In 2015, Odd Machine added several directors, a new River North office and Executive Producer, Lisa Burke. This has been a very exciting year so far and I continue to be excited by the opportunities that this experience will present not only for my film career but my commercial career at Odd Machine as well.
