Cleveland, Ohio (August 13, 2026) - Following the successful commercial launch of DTV , Brazil's next-generation television standard, Brazilian broadcasters are accelerating the nationwide rollout of the new broadcast platform during the Football World Cup 2026. To support the industry's transition toward remote and cloud-native production and distribution, J nger Audio joins Fraunhofer IIS and its industry partners to showcase the first fully cloud-based, DTV -compliant workflow at SET Expo 2026 in S o Paulo from August 17 20.

The end-to-end demonstration features MPEG-H Audio contribution into the cloud, including full metadata authoring and rendering, illustrating a scalable, interoperable, and cloud-native workflow for next-generation broadcasting. J nger Audio flexAI plays a crucial role in this NGA workflow by not only allowing broadcasters to define the metadata sent to downstream encoders but also by maintaining strict quality control of object-based programs thanks to its ability to render and monitor the output stream.

Building on the cloud-native MPEG-H Audio production workflow for Low-latency streaming and personalized audio for live Sports unveiled at NAB Show 2026, this demonstration extends the architecture into the industry's first fully featured cloud-based DTV -compliant end-to-end workflow. The showcase illustrates how broadcasters can leverage cloud infrastructure to simplify deployment, increase operational flexibility, and deliver immersive, personalized audio experiences to viewers.

The SET Expo demonstration brings together AWS, Fraunhofer IIS, J nger Audio, MainConcept, MediaKind, and Techex to showcase an interoperable, cloud-based workflow spanning the entire DTV service chain from content production and advanced audio processing to metadata authoring, monitoring, encoding, and distribution.

The live demonstration will be showcased throughout SET Expo Brazil across the participating partners' booths: Amazon Web Services (30B), MediaKind (SDBM Media: 42A), and Fraunhofer IIS (42B). Attendees will see, firsthand, how cloud-native technologies and open, interoperable solutions can accelerate the deployment of next-generation television services in Brazil.

This showcase marks another important milestone in the industry's transition toward software-defined broadcast workflows and highlights the role of MPEG-H Audio as a foundational technology for DTV . By enabling immersive sound, enhanced dialogue intelligibility, and personalized audio experiences, MPEG-H Audio helps broadcasters deliver more engaging and accessible services to viewers.
