HEVC Contribution/ Distribution Receiver Decoders
Sencore delivers new HEVC HD/SD decoding options for existing MRD 5800 and 4400 IRD platforms to provide a full-featured decoding solutions for contribution and distribution video applications. The new options add support for HEVC decoding of 8-bit or 10-bit content in either 4:2:0 or 4:2:2 up to 1080p50/60. The decoders support full backwards compatibility with MPEG2 and H.264 standards.
4KTV/ UHDTV Distribution Monitoring Decoder
The new Sencore distribution monitoring decoder provides dense decoding of HEVC 4k video in the openGear chassis, with up to 20 channels of decoding in the 2RU openGear frame. Supporting video elementary stream decode up to 80 Mbps, these cards are ideal for monitoring production 4k video feeds reliably at point of origination. Decoded 4k output is provided via an onboard HDMI 2.0 port, or the video can be downscaled and output via standard 3G-SDI as a 1080p50/60 signal. This reliable, IC-based solution operates at less than 15 watts per channel.
High-density 4:2:2 Satellite Receiver/Decoder
Sencore's industry-first 4:2:2 IRD-on-a-card, makes it possible to receive any contribution feed (up to 4:2:2 10-bit AVC) directly from satellite or IP with up to 10 channels in a 2RU frame. Ideal for Sports or New reception the new aG series also continues Sencore's legacy of dense monitoring decoders with IP and terrestrial RF reception.
DVB-T2 and ISDB-T Inputs for Decode, Monitoring and Digital Turnaround
The addition of a multi-standard interface card supporting DVB-T/T2, DVB-C/C2 and ISDB-T makes Sencores 1RU (MRD) and dense (AG) receiver lines the perfect option for those looking to monitor off-air terrestrial feeds, or repurpose content for cable or IPTV distribution.

Sencores best-in-class VideoBRIDGE monitoring system continues to provide a complete, end-to-end view from ingest to transmission. With upcoming features like statistical and thumbnail archiving, the system provides compliance and troubleshooting capabilities that can be scaled to any sized operation.
ISDB-T and DVB-C2 USB Probes
The DTU-238 DVB-T/T2 probe, a handy carry-along troubleshooting tool for field engineers, is gaining ISDB-T and DVB-C2 capabilities. The USB-powered design coupled with Sencores RF analysis software and Dektecs StreamXpert provides easy and cost-effective access for analyzing and troubleshooting any cable or terrestrial broadcast signal. An additional ASI input port also makes this tool ideal for general purpose use around the lab or the server room.
