Women in the broadcast sector meet for the first time in 2014 IBC En el encuentro Females in the Broadcast Industry (FBI) se discutir el papel que juegan las mujeres en el broadcast y si la industria est haciendo lo suficiente para atraer a las profesionales.
With the sponsorship of Ross Video, IBC 2014 acoger por vez primera un encuentro en el que participar n las mujeres de la industria audiovisual.
En el encuentro Females in the Broadcast Industry (FBI) se discutir el papel que juegan las mujeres en el broadcast y si la industria est haciendo lo suficiente para atraer a las profesionales. Tambi n se plantear n los retos que abordar n las nuevas generaciones y su formaci n. El evento est abierto a todas las mujeres y hombres que asistan a IBC 2014.
Entre los panelistas participan Sadie Groom (MD, Bubble & Squeak), Lesley Johnson (directora de Operaciones, BBC Worldwide), Laura Thommen (VP Ventas Empresariales, MelroseTec), Carrie Wootten (Jefa de Desarrollo Comercial, Ravensbourne) y Nicki Fisher (direcci n de Ventas EMEA en Clear-Com).
Females in the Broadcast Industry (FBI) se llevar a cabo desde 12.30 hasta 14.00 horas el s bado 13 de septiembre en la Sala D201, en el segundo piso del Elysium Suites (pabell n 14, donde se encuentra el stand de Sony.)
David Dowling, director de venta para EMEA en Ross V deo, se ha mostrado muy contento de apoyar esta iniciativa del FBI y sentimos que es muy importante que las mujeres tengan un foro dedicado en el quye se trabaje para la apertura de oportunidades en la industria. Cuando yo miro alrededor del mundo broadcast estoy constantemente sorprendido por el peque o n mero de mujeres en funciones de ventas, t cnicas y operativas. Eso es algo que tiene que cambiar. Hay un gran n mero de mujeres bien formadas y motivadas que son perfectamente capaces de desarrollar una exitosa carrera en el broadcast si tienen una oportunidad .
