MTS Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

Moscow, Russian Federation - MTS PJSC ( MTS - NYSE: MBT; MOEX: MTSS), the leading telecommunications provider in Russia and the CIS, announces the appointment of Andrey Kamensky as Acting Vice President, Finance, Investments and M&A.

The appointment of Andrey Kamensky for the permanent position should be considered at an upcoming meeting of the Board of Directors of MTS.

Alexey Kornya, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented, I know Andrey as an excellent professional with broad experience in financial management in various industries. Over the past seven years, as Executive Vice President, Finance and Economics, at Sistema PJSFC, Andrey has been deeply involved in financial planning, including debt management, shareholder remuneration policies and other strategic business issues, involving MTS. I am confident that Andrey s deep expertise will strengthen our team and continue to support the Company's strategy to improve operational efficiency and enhance the Company's digital development.

Biography Before joining MTS, Andrey served as Executive Vice President, Finance and Economics for Sistema PJSFC. From 1997 to 2011, he held a number of executive positions in finance at Perekrestok JSC, AB InBev, ING BANK (EURASIA) JSC.

Andrey was born in 1972. He graduated from the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation in 1999 and Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography in 1995.
