IABM set to have its biggest ever presence at BroadcastAsia

Exclusive member only session with Dr. Lee Hing Yan, Director, National Cloud Computing Office, IDA, Singapore

IABM is leading the way at BroadcastAsia 2015 with an array of industry events. One of the biggest pre-show highlights will be an exclusive IABM reception, on Monday 1 June. The event will take place at The Pump Room Microbrewery, providing the perfect networking opportunity for IABM members prior to the main event.

On day two, IABM will deliver the latest market intelligence for the APAC region during its Industry Update Breakfast. The session will deliver thought-provoking content and the chance to hear the latest industry data, as well as the opportunity to discuss the current business climate and trends.

This session will be closely followed on day three with a breakfast seminar in association with IDA, featuring an exclusive presentation by industry expert, Dr. Lee Hing Yan, Director, National Cloud Computing Office, IDA (Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore). Dr Hing Yan will discuss the state of cloud computing in Singaporeand share his insight on the requirements for implementing Cloud solutions.

The event is a great opportunity to meet with our members and hear first-hand their experiences and challenges in the region.

We are also thrilled to be joined by Dr. Lee Hing Yan. Cloud technology is continuing to develop and Singapore is in the forefront of placing the correct measures and regulations for Cloud roll out. For the broadcaster and playout centres, cloud is coming and will have a significant impact on the local industry. For APAC, the first adopters will be those countries with the infrastructure and political will to see it though, however, the cloud will eventually encompass all operations whether private or business. His in site on how Cloud is implemented across all industries in Singapore and the legislation in place will be thoughtful .

Following its success at NAB2015, IABM.TV will be also be returning to the show floor to capture the conference sessions and conduct interviews. Anyone who is not able to attend the event itself, can be kept up to date with the latest news, business commentary and event coverage.

IABM's Member Lounge will also be available throughout the show on Level 5 5N9-04. The lounge offers members a quiet area to meet and work away from the exhibition floor.
