David Diamond
San Francisco, California - 17 May 2016 - The West Michigan Content Strategy Group will host David Diamond, author of DAM Survival Guide, and director of global marketing for digital asset management (DAM) software maker Picturepark , on June 01 2016 for Diamond's presentation, Digital Content Findability Strategies.
Based on content from Diamond's forthcoming book, Taxonomy and Metadata Design for Digital Content Management, the presentation will help attendees:
Determine the best method of content organization for different needs
Create a plan for building effective taxonomy and metadata schema designs that work for personal and professional uses
Define simple policy requirements to encourage content management discipline
Understand how metadata can enable and improve automated and manual workflows
Build a DAM or content management system today that's ready to adapt to what's coming tomorrow in terms of search and metadata
Attendees will receive free copies of Diamond's 2012 release, DAM Survival Guide, sponsored by Picturepark.
About David Diamond David Diamond has worked in the field of Digital Asset Management since 1998. In addition to authoring two books on the subject, Diamond created DAM Guru Program, the world's largest community of DAM expertise. Diamond directs global marketing for Swiss DAM software maker, Picturepark. He was awarded the 2013 DAMMY of the Year, the industry's highest honor, for his contributions to digital asset management education. Diamond was a founding member of the 1980s band, Berlin.
