Genelec monitors and Audio-Technica microphones allow Mediapro capture sound detail in its 4K production Mediapro ha equipado su nueva unidad m vil de Ultra Alta Definici n 4K con sistemas de monitorizaci n Genelec y micr fonos est reo BP4029 de Audio-Technica. La nueva unidad, que es la m s grande del mercado espa ol en configuraci n UHD y est pensada para la producci n de grandes eventos.
El grupo audiovisual ha ampliado su flota con la puesta en funcionamiento de su tercera unidad m vil equipada con esta tecnolog a. La unidad, una de las m s grandes de Europa, est equipada para soportar una configuraci n en 4K de 18 c maras y 6 EVS (o 32 c maras en HD).
Una unidad de estas caracter sticas necesita un sistema de monitorizaci n extremadamente preciso y fiable, a pesar de la obvia carencia en el espacio disponible, problema indiscutible en una unidad m vil, y que afecta no solo al espacio, sino tambi n, y m s importante, a la precisi n de la monitorizaci n. La soluci n perfecta la ofrec a el uso de monitores dotados de tecnolog a SAM. Estos monitores ofrecen dos ventajas in ditas en el mercado: la posibilidad de crear una flexible red de monitores y subgraves controlada por ordenador, que permite al usuario configurar de forma muy r pida y f cil cualquier tipo de sistema de monitorizaci n, y la capacidad de controlar el comportamiento y respuesta de cada monitor para adaptarlo al entorno y las condiciones de audici n. En concreto, se han escogido los modelos 8320A, 8330A y el coaxial 8351A, complementados con un subgrave 7350A.
El monitor de 2 v as biamplificado 8320A incorpora un transductor de graves de 4 , un transductor de agudos de con c pula met lica asociado un dispositivo DCW, y sendos amplificadores de potencia para graves y agudos, ambos de 50W.
Por su parte, el monitor 8330A, tambi n de dos v as y autoamplificado, est equipado con un transductor de graves de 5 , un transductor de agudos de 3/4 con c pula met lica, asociado a una gu a ondas DCW; tambi n cuenta con dos amplificadores de 50 W.
Ambos modelos ofrecen unas dimensiones compactas y cuentan con blindaje magn tico, lo que los convierte en ideales para ser utilizados en unidades m viles.
El compacto monitor activo inteligente ac sticamente coaxial 8351A es un logro revolucionario en el dise o de monitores de tres v as. Se trata de un monitor coaxial de 3 v as triamplificado, que combina la revolucionaria tecnolog a Acoustically Concealed Woofers (ACW), exclusiva de Genelec, con otras dos innovadoras tecnolog as, tambi n desarrolladas en exclusiva por esta firma: el transductor Minimum Diffraction Coaxial (MDC) y el gu a ondas Maximised Directivity Control Waveguide (MaxDCW), para producir una directividad controlada en un amplio ancho de banda.
Cuenta con dos transductores de graves de 8.5 x4 , un transductor de medios de 5 , y un transductor de agudos de 3/4 + DCW. Sus amplificadores de potencia ofrecen 150 W en graves, 120 W en medios y 90 W en agudos.
El subgrave 7350 SAM proporciona una monitorizaci n de precisi n sorprendente y una gran flexibilidad en un formato extremadamente compacto. Incorpora un amplificador en clase D de 150 W, dise ado y fabricado por Genelec, que proporciona un elevado SPL, alta fiabilidad y una distorsi n muy baja, y un transductor de 8 .
Mediapro tambi n ha instalado monitores anal gicos convencionales, concretamente el peque o monitor biamplificado 8020D, que ha sido dise ado para la monitorizaci n en entornos de dif cil audici n, especialmente en aquellos en los que se carece de espacio. Incorpora un transductor de graves de 105 mm (4 ) y un twetter de 19 mm (3/4 ) montado en la avanzada gu a ondas Directivity Controlled Waveguide (DCW) de Genelec. Para la amplificaci n, cuenta con sendos amplificadores de 20 W.

Por otro lado, Mediapro tambi n ha adquirido dos unidades del micr fono de ca n est reo Audio-Technica BP4029, que han sido utilizados por Atresmedia para la retransmisi n de los dos ltimos partidos disputados hasta la fecha en la Champions League. Esta ha sido la primera vez que esta cadena utiliza micr fonos est reo de ca n. Despu s de un breve per odo de pruebas, se escogi el micr fono est reo de ca n BP4029 de Audio-Technica. Seg n ha manifestado Gustavo Porta Casas (jefe de operaciones en Atresmedia) los resultados han sido excelentes, y a partir de ahora el uso de estos micr fonos se convertir en un est ndar para todas las operaciones en exteriores de esta cadena.
Basado en los modelos desarrollados para ser utilizados en las retransmisiones de los Juegos de Sydney de 2000, el micr fono est reo tipo ca n BP4029 (235,9 mm de longitud) ha sido dise ado para ser utilizado en broadcast y producci n de alto nivel. Incorpora elementos l nea-cardioide y figura en 8 independientes configurados en una distribuci n MS (Mid-Side) con matrizado interno seleccionable por medio de un conmutador. Este innovador micr fono permite que el usuario pueda seleccionar entre una salida est reo izquierda/derecha (estrecha o amplia) a trav s del sistema interno de matrizado del micr fono, o seleccionar se ales discretas Mid-Side para su posterior manipulaci n, una flexibilidad que no ofrece ning n otro fabricante. Un filtro conmutable de supresi n de graves ayuda a minimizar la captaci n de ruido de baja frecuencia no deseado. Alimentado por medio de phantom, este modelo presenta un robusto pero ligero dise o, y un elegante acabado en negro, perfecto para su uso en c maras.
