Telos Alliance will introduce updates to the J nger Audio flexAI audio processing platform at IBC2026 (Stand 8.D37), including autonomous mixing, new connectivity options, and a TVU MediaMesh integration.
FlexAI CastCompanion
CastCompanion is an autonomous broadcast mixing engine powered by JAIC (J nger Audio Intelligent Companion), designed for live sports commentary, news production, and podcasts. JAIC analyzes incoming signals and optimizes parameters, while the mix runs in J nger Audio's real-time processing path. Within a single workflow, CastCompanion combines automixing, AI-assisted denoising, voice enhancement, upmixing to 7.1.4, and loudness management aligned with EBU R 128 S4. A dedicated low-latency monitoring path allows talent and operators to monitor without the delay of the full processing chain.
12G-SDI Interface
A new 12G-SDI interface for AIXpressor supports SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI, and 12G-SDI formats up to 4K/UHD 60p, with integrated video delay for audio/video synchronization and a built-in test-pattern generator. The interface is available for proof-of-concept projects now, with commercial availability planned for the end of 2026.
NDI Connectivity
New NDI audio connectivity is available for AIXpressor, flexAIserver, and flexAIcloud. A base license supports 16 audio channels, with 16-channel expansion licenses available.
TVU MediaMesh Integration
J nger Audio processing and codecs, metadata handling, and Next Generation Audio capabilities will be available within TVU MediaMesh workflows, eliminating the need for a separate processing platform.
Live production is increasingly moving across hardware, IP, software, and cloud environments, but the expectations for audio don't change, says Costa Nikols, Executive Vice President of Product Development, Telos Alliance. It still has to be reliable, predictable, and ready for air. The additions that Junger is making to flexAI are all about giving broadcasters more ways to build and scale their workflows, while keeping those fundamentals firmly in place.
