The EBU has produced a guide to the array of services and expertise it provides for its public service media (PSM) membership.

Director General Ingrid Deltenre says the publication, titled Creating Communities, represents a "declaration of commitment to its Members," 74 in 56 countries in Europe and beyond.

"The expertise we embody, the technical standards we pursue, the content we coordinate and exchange - everything is guided by our mission to make public service media indispensible," said Ms Deltenre.

The publication groups EBU activities and services into five sections: exclusive content, expertise and guidance, advocacy and influence, network, and governance.

Ms Deltenre added: " We embody the principle that "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts", assisting and representing Members, collectively and individually, in as many ways as are necessary.
