M nchen, 14. M rz 2018 - Das von TNT Serie und Wiedemann & Berg produzierte Gangster-Drama 4 Blocks erh lt einen Grimme-Preis. Geehrt werden die Schauspieler Kida Khodr Ramadan und Maryam Zaree sowie Regisseur und Autor Marvin Kren. Der Preis im Wettbewerb Fiktion wird am 13. April in Marl verliehen.
In ihrer Begr ndung schreibt die Jury: Es geht hier um die gro e Show, um die Inszenierung der Neuk llner Stra enkids, mit Bling Bling, dicken Autos, Drogen und Gewalt. Die Fragen nach Moral, nach Gut und B se, werden zwar aufgeworfen, aber nicht beantwortet. Das tut gut in einer Fernsehlandschaft, die oft dominiert ist von einem gereckten p dagogischen Zeigefinger.
Die sechsteilige erste Staffel von 4 Blocks wurde ab 8. Mai auf TNT Serie, dem Seriensender von Turner Deutschland, ausgestrahlt. Sie feierte im Februar auf der Berlinale Premiere und war seither auf zahlreichen Festivals weltweit zu sehen. Im Rahmen des Serienfestivals S ries Mania in Paris erhielt Kida Khodr Ramadan den Preis als Bester Hauptdarsteller . Beim Deutschen Fernsehpreis entschied die Serie die Kategorien Beste Regie (Marvin Kren), Bester Schauspieler (Kida Khodr Ramadan ) sowie Bester Schnitt (Jan Hille und Lars Jordan) f r sich. Dar ber hinaus gewann das TNT Serie Original eine Goldene Kamera als Bester deutscher Mehrteiler/Miniserie . Bei der Verleihung des Fernsehpreises der Deutschen Akademie f r Fernsehen (DAFF) wurde 4 Blocks zudem in den Kategorien Regie (Marvin Kren), Bester Hauptdarsteller (Frederick Lau), Redaktion (Anke Greifeneder), Produktion (Quirin Berg, Max Wiedemann, Prof. Dr. Eva Stadler, Karsten R hle, Anke Greifeneder und Hannes Heyelmann), Casting (Iris Baum ller) sowie Musik (Stefan Will und Marco Dreckk tter) ausgezeichnet. Marvin Kren erhielt au erdem den Deutschen Regiepreis METROPOLIS f r seine Inszenierung von 4 Blocks. TNT Serie wiederholt die erste Staffel und zeigt am 16. und 23. April jeweils ab 21:55 Uhr drei Folgen am St ck.
Die zweite Staffel von 4 Blocks - erneut geschrieben von Hanno Hackford, Bob Konrad und Richard Kropf - wird derzeit unter der Regie von Oliver Hirschbiegel und zg r Y ld r m gedreht. Die Ausstrahlung ist f r Herbst 2018 geplant.
Zur ersten Staffel von 4 Blocks:
Die erste Staffel von 4 Blocks erz hlt in sechs Episoden von Freundschaft und Familie, Verrat und Schuld im Milieu eines arabischen Clans in Berlin-Neuk lln. Im Zentrum steht Ali Toni Hamady (Kida Khodr Ramadan), der gemeinsam mit seiner Frau Kalila (Maryam Zaree) seine vier Blocks und die kriminellen Gesch fte hinter sich lassen will. Doch nachdem sein Schwager Latif (Massiv) bei einer Razzia verhaftet wird, ist es Toni der Familie schuldig, erneut die operative F hrung des Clans zu bernehmen. Zudem m chte Toni die Kontrolle nicht seinem unberechenbaren Bruder Abbas (Veysel Gelin) berlassen, der sich bereits als neues Familienoberhaupt sieht. Als mit Vince (Frederick Lau) pl tzlich ein alter Freund nach Berlin zur ckkehrt und Toni damit eine Vertrauensperson an seiner Seite glaubt, scheint die Hoffnung auf eine legale Zukunft wieder in greifbarer N he. Aber aus der Abw rtsspirale aus Verbrechen und Intrigen gibt es l ngst kein Entkommen mehr.
Entwickelt wurde 4 Blocks von Wiedemann & Berg, TNT Serie und dem Autoren-Trio Hanno Hackfort, Bob Konrad, Richard Kropf sowie Regisseur und Autor Marvin Kren. Quirin Berg, Max Wiedemann, sowie auf Senderseite Anke Greifeneder und Hannes Heyelmann fungieren als Executive Producer. In der ersten Staffel waren zudem Karsten R hle und Eva Stadler als Executive Producer beteiligt, bei Staffel 2 fungiert Marvin Kren als Executive Producer sowie Sven Miehe als Co-Executive Producer.
