
AEC and TAI join forces to illuminate the role of the director of photography on the film La Universidad de las Artes TAI y la Asociaci n Espa ola de Autores de Obras Fotogr ficas Cinematogr ficas desarrollan un acuerdo de colaboraci n para impulsar el conocimiento y la formaci n sobre esta actividad profesional.
La Universidad de las Artes TAI acogi el pasado fin de semana la Asamblea de la Asociaci n Espa ola de Autores de Obras Fotogr ficas Cinematogr ficas (AEC), un acto que puso en valor el convenio de colaboraci n firmado entre ambas instituciones, y por el que TAI se convierte en miembro protector de la AEC. Fruto de este acuerdo, la Asociaci n refuerza su c rculo de alianzas con las principales escuelas de cine de nuestro pa s, y al mismo tiempo suma sinergias en el mbito profesional de las artes por cuanto TAI est considerado como el centro universitario de referencia en la formaci n art stica interdisciplinar en Espa a, con programas docentes en muy diversas materias: cine, fotograf a, bellas artes, artes esc nicas o composici n de m sicas contempor neas.
Esta iniciativa persigue, entre otros objetivos, contribuir a subrayar la difusi n del trabajo y la profesi n de los directores de fotograf a como coautores de una obra audiovisual. Reto al que TAI se ha sumado desde hace tiempo de manera decidida, integrando entre su amplia oferta docente el Master Profesional en Direcci n de Fotograf a y C mara para Cinematograf a y Nuevos Medios. Un Master que imparten Directores de fotograf a AEC entre otros profesores, profesionales en activo cualificados.
El director de fotograf a, en el mbito cinematogr fico, es una figura capital en el proceso de producci n de un film, y a veces este perfil resulta algo desconocido, al menos para el gran p blico. Esta alianza, sin duda, redundar en beneficio de una actividad en la que nuestro pa s cuenta con profesionales muy destacados (Javier Aguirresarobe, Alex Catal n, Nestor Almendros, Jos Luis Alcaine, Oscar Faura ), as como con programas de formaci n de indudable calidad.
La empresa en las aulas
En este contexto, y tras el convenio firmado, la Universidad de las Artes TAI, a trav s de su oferta de Grado y en especial de su Master profesional, va a potenciar el v nculo directo de sus alumnos con empresas, profesionales y proveedores del sector (que se corresponde al objetivo La empresa en las aulas' del Departamento de Emprendimiento y Desarrollo profesional). Un respaldo muy relevante especialmente en la formaci n de postgrado, ya que durante el curso que viene se potenciar la propuesta de workshops, master classes, conferencias y en especial, de demostraciones y presentaciones de equipamiento tecnol gico de filmaci n y rodaje de primer nivel, optimizando las posibilidades, nacionales e internacionales de la AEC, junto a sus miembros Protectores y los acuerdos que ellos tienen con sus principales proveedores de equipos de producci n cinematogr fica.
As , cabe recordar que la Asociaci n Espa ola de Autores de Obras Fotogr ficas Cinematogr ficas forma parte de la Federaci n Europea de Directores de Fotograf a (IMAGO), formada por m s de cuarenta asociaciones de todo el mundo.
Al mismo tiempo, los alumnos de TAI que finalicen sus estudios de 4 Grado, en la especialidad de Direcci n de Fotograf a, o el Master en Direcci n de Fotograf a y C mara, y obtengan la calificaci n de sobresaliente o notable alto en estas ense anzas, disfrutar n con la admisi n gratuita durante un a o como miembros Asociados de la AEC. Adem s, la colaboraci n entre TAI y la AEC se va a articular por medio de una serie de acciones de lo m s variopinto, centradas en al divulgaci n de la profesi n antes citada, el desarrollo de medidas dirigidas a fortalecer el sector audiovisual, o el refuezo de iniciativas de formaci n vinculadas a la actividad del director de fotograf a en el mundo del cine.
Merced a este acuerdo, los alumnos de TAI ya han disfrutado de una master class de colorimetr a y reproducci n de color en iluminaci n LED, y la presentaci n por primera vez en Europa de los nuevos equipos de iluminaci n exhibidos en el NAB de Las Vegas de este a o, master class inpartida por Moncada y Lorenzo, miembro protector de la AEC y sus partners Cineo, Litepanels y LiteGear.
