TRIBECA FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES 2027 DATES AND CALLS FOR SUBMISSIONS

Following a Record Box Office Year, the 26th Edition, Presented by OKX, Takes Place June 3-12, 2027 in New York City

NEW YORK, NY - September 30, 2026 - The Tribeca Festival, presented by OKX, today announced that its 26th edition will take place June 3-12, 2027 in New York City. Submissions across the Festival's signature programming categories are now open, and Festival passes are on sale today at TribecaFilm.com, including the returning Under 25 Pass and new Hudson Opening Weekend Pass.

For more than 25 years, Tribeca has brought artists and audiences together in the heart of New York City, championing bold new work from storytellers across disciplines and at every stage of their careers. In 2027, Tribeca will once again welcome filmmakers and creators from around the world to share their work with audiences across the city.

Submissions are now open across Features, Shorts & Music Videos, Tribeca TV, Tribeca Digital Creators, Tribeca Games, Tribeca Podcasts, and Tribeca X.

Tribeca has long been a destination for emerging and established artists to debut new work and connect with audiences, industry leaders, and a creative community that extends well beyond the Festival. In 2026, Tribeca welcomed 57 first-time feature filmmakers, joining an alumni community that includes Ryan Coogler, Damien Chazelle, Jon M. Chu, Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, Alex Gibney, Jessica Kingdon, Nia DaCosta, and many more.

The 26th Festival follows a milestone year for Tribeca, with the 25th anniversary Festival featuring more than 240 live events and a record 104 feature film world premieres.

The anniversary celebration brought together an only-at-Tribeca mix of film, music, and culture. Alicia Keys brought Closing Night to its feet with Empire State of Mind on the same night the New York Knicks won the NBA championship. Sara Bareilles, Mumford & Sons, The LOX, Magdalena Bay, and Noga Erez & Ori Rousso performed live, while Madonna, Katy Perry, and Hillary Clinton took the stage for conversations. Tribeca also brought landmark films back to the big screen, reuniting Robert De Niro, Paul Schrader, Martin Scorsese, and Jodie Foster for the 50th anniversary of Taxi Driver and Matthew Broderick and Ben Stiller for the 30th anniversary of The Cable Guy.

Building on that momentum, Tribeca is expanding the ways audiences can experience the Festival in 2027. Following a successful pilot year, Tribeca will bring back its Under 25 Pass, giving the next generation of culture-obsessed audiences greater access to the Festival. Tribeca will also introduce the new Hudson Opening Weekend Pass, offering access to Festival programming from Opening Night through Monday.

Hudson All-Access Pass (10% discount through October 4): Unlimited priority access to public screenings and events, tickets to Opening and Closing Night, lounge access at Spring Studios, and more.

NEW: Hudson Opening Weekend Pass: Unlimited priority access to public screenings and events, from Opening Day through Monday, June 7.

Under 25 Pass: Rush line entry to available screenings and access to midnight screenings and podcasts.

Ticket Packages (10% discount through October 4): Secure tickets online before general public on-sale, available in 8- or 12-ticket increments.
