A successful Viz Virtual Studio training Viz Guru event hosted by Vizrt in Vomp, Austria.
Vizrt hosted a Viz Guru training event last month, inviting technicians and designers to Vomp, Austria, situated in the heart of the Austrian Alps. The focus of this Viz Guru training was on Viz Virtual Studio.
Initially the idea was to separate technicians from designers, however; all students were very happy to participate in all courses and topics.
The five day course started with the technical training, where all participants could see the different virtual set components and learn how to set up our VizIO software. Calibrating optics in order to create virtual lens files helped the students to understand how reality and virtuality are composed together to get a precise result on the output.
Moreover; upcoming features which will be presented at NAB were shown along with the upcoming, completely new, tracking software for virtual sets called Tracking Hub, one of the smaller highlights of the event!
Following suit with all Viz Guru events, an evening of social activity was organized and all participants were invited to tour the "Burg Freundsberg / Freundsberg Castle", a medieval castle located in the area, followed by a delicious traditional dinner.
The next day was all about graphics design, Vizrts Hannes Feldkirchner showed Viz Guru participants how to prepare virtual studio for production and how to give scenes that final touch in order to get a realistic and impressing design and result.
Last but surely not least, the groups were split up so that the students could learn components individually. Vizrts Andre Kolmogorov showed the features of our Viz Virtual Studio control software for controlling virtual set graphics without Viz Pilot or Viz Trio. The designers spent time with Hannes on creating graphics and technicians "played" in Viz Virtual Studio with the technical components.
Vizrt has hosted many Viz Guru training events around the world and the community of Viz Gurus is continuing to grow! Our aim is to ensure we offer distinguished training courses to Vizrt designer, developer, operator enthusiasts to sharpen and develop their already proven skills.
Encouraging the best to become even better, this is a great opportunity for Vizrts users to come together and exchange the latest tips and tricks. Each student attending the Viz Guru event was given a 1 year Vizrt Training License to improve their skills.
