Grass Valley's Glass-to-Glass IP Solution

Grass Valley's unique Glass-to-Glass approach to IP spans the range of key products used in production and playout applications, including cameras, servers, production switchers, routers, multiviewers, IP gateways and control systems. The Grass Valley solution leverages proven IT technologies, such as commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) IP routing switches and Software Defined Networking (SDN) control, to maximize the flexibility essential in today's changing media industry. LDX 4K Camera System

Pegasus SDN

For customers wishing to make the transition to IP alongside SDI, Grass Valley's Pegasus is the solution. Pegasus offers a built-in SDN module for managing IP networks made up of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) switches, making use of non-proprietary technology and best-of-breed switches alongside SDI routing switchers. Pegasus SDN will make IP stream routing appear the same to an operator as routing SDI, providing transparent control.

K2 Dyno Replay System with DynoZoom

The K2 Dyno Replay System with DynoZoom allows for pan/zoom functions to be applied to high frame-rate camera systems including 3X 1080p, 6X and 4K/UHD. K2 Dyno is also the only pan/zoom system to implement timeline keyframes on all captured formats including 4K/UHD that actively follow a pan or zoom path created by the operator.

In addition to the product demonstrations at the booth, a number of Grass Valley experts will be speaking in the NAB pre-show workshops and show conference sessions.
