Change on the Executive Board of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE

Unterf hring, April 27, 2023. The Supervisory Board of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE today decided on a change in the position of Chief Financial Officer: Martin Mildner (53) will take over as Chief Financial Officer as of May 1, 2023. Most recently, he was CFO of MDAX-listed United Internet AG and had successfully taken the Group subsidiary IONOS public. Prior to this, Mildner was General Counsel and Head of M&A at the Hamburg-based Otto Group for many years, where he was responsible, among other things, for setting up and preparing the IPO of About You, one of Europes most successful e-commerce companies, in 2021. He started his career as a lawyer and tax advisor, first at KPMG and later as a partner at Heuking K hn L er Wojtek, before switching to the corporate side in 2007.

Ralf Peter Gierig (57), previously Member of the Executive Board & Chief Financial Officer of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, resigned from his position today by mutual agreement with the Supervisory Board. In the last 20 years at ProSiebenSat.1, Ralf Peter Gierig has played a key role in shaping the finance department, successfully positioning the Group on the capital market and, above all, setting up ProSiebenSat.1s financing in a stable and long-term manner.

Ralf Peter Gierig joined ProSiebenSat.1 Group over 20 years ago and has held various management positions within the Finance department during this time. In October 2016, he became Deputy Group CFO and assumed the role of Group CFO of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE on an interim basis from both April to May 2017 and April to June 2019. As of January 1, 2022, he was appointed to the Executive Board of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE as Chief Financial Officer.
