DOCSIS 3.1 BUSINESS IMPACT, LIVE PROVISIONING DEMONSTRATION

TO HIGHLIGHT ISBE/ANGA INTERNATIONAL BREAKFAST AT ANGA COM 2017

MAY 23, 2017 (Exton, PA)-The business impact of DOCSIS 3.1 with a demonstration of live provisioning of the new specification will be on the agenda when the International Society of Broadband Experts (ISBE) (known in the United States as the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers, or SCTE) and ANGA COM co-host the ISBE/ANGA International Breakfast at ANGA COM 2017 next Wednesday, May 31.

During the breakfast, ISBE President and CEO Mark Dzuban will speak on the importance of DOCSIS 3.1 to cable within the increasingly competitive telecommunications landscape, and three technology partners-ARRIS, Viavi, and ANEDIS-will team with ISBE to show live provisioning between an ARRIS E6000 Converged Edge Router and an ARRIS DOCSIS 3.0 gateway and an ARRIS DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem. The provisioning process will be shown live on a laptop-connected projector screen.

The International Breakfast will be conducted from 9:00-10:15 AM CET on Wednesday, May 31 at the Speakers' Corner of ANGA COM's Koelnmesse venue.

In addition to the International Breakfast, ISBE's participation at ANGA COM 2017 will include Bastian's involvement as moderator of a panel entitled Realities of Deploying in Distributed Access Architectures on Wednesday, May 31 at 3:00 PM CET. The panel will include David Keane-Mirajkar, Cisco; John Ulm, ARRIS Group; Jeff Leung, Casa Systems; and Mike Gannon, Nokia.
