New Years Eve in China with Vizrts immersive graphics

In China, every New Years Eve since 2010, Vizrts immersive graphics have set the stage for an astonishing live concert performance event.

With the help from Vizrts Creative Services APAC, 400 million viewers watched the live concert hosted by Hu Nan TV and JiangSu TV, witnessing the magical possibilities of Vizrts graphic tools.

Vizrts was involved with the show from beginning design, to the on-site, immersive set up. During the show, Hu Nan TV and JiangSu TV used Viz Artist, with Viz Virtual Studio, Viz Trio, and Viz Pilot. The audio was transmitted as an output from Viz Engine, and extensive use of immersive technology ran through-out the show controlling the graphics and creating indoor friction thunderstorms, lasers, on stage immersive dancers, and more.

To meet the clients expectations and to get 100% results, Vizrt had to put in 200% work. There are many variables which could cause problems during the live concert event. The immersive graphics need to sync with light, audio, the huge LED wall stage design, and the 16 camera inputs - 5 from immersive content. The entire crew needed to work together in sync in order for the graphics and video to be seamlessly blended for the final presentation.

Bringing in the New Year with Vizrts beautiful immersive graphics has contributed to higher viewership of this event and is recognized for the customers success. Hu Na TV and JiangSu TV are the top 2 viewer rating TV stations in China for the New Years Eve concert and the TV stations are extremely happy and excited with the success of the show.
