The Hispasat Festival 4 K and RTVE put at the disposal of the public new content in 4K through the red button El programa Directores en 4K' recoge varios cortos ganadores de la pasada edici n del festival, junto con entrevistas en las que sus autores conversan con realizadores consagrados sobre el futuro del medio audiovisual y los nuevos formatos y tecnolog as.

Cuatro cortometrajes galardonados en la edici n de 2016 del International Festival Hispasat 4K se podr n disfrutar en UHD a trav s de la aplicaci n Bot n rojo de RTVE. Para verlos bastar con pulsar la opci n Contenido 4K de la aplicaci n. Los cortos que se pueden ver en 4K son: Anomalous, de Aitor Guti rrez (Premio Hispasat al Mejor Cortometraje); The devil on your back, de Haritz Zubillaga (Premio Cine365 film al Mejor Director); A place, de Iv n Fern ndez de C rdoba (Premio Samsung SUHD del Jurado); y The darkness keeper, de Rodrigo Ati nzar (Premio Dolby al Mejor Sonido).

Este nuevo contenido en UHD puede verse junto a la serie de entrevistas Directores en 4K. Un innovador programa para televisi n, producido ntegramente en UHD por Virtual Contenidos, en el que algunos de los ganadores de la pasada edici n del Festival Hispasat 4K conversan con directores consagrados sobre el estado y futuro del medio audiovisual, con especial atenci n a los nuevos formatos, como el 4K. En los cuatro episodios participan: Gracia Querejeta con Iv n Fern ndez de C rdoba, Daniel S nchez Ar valo con Rodrigo Ati nzar, Nacho Vilgalondo con Haritz Zubillaga, y Emilio Mart nez L zaro con Aitor Guti rrez.

Tres de los programas con sus correspondientes cortos ya se encuentran disponibles en el Bot n rojo , y el cuarto se incorporar a la aplicaci n la semana que viene. Estos contenidos podr n verse tambi n pr ximamente en el canal Hispasat 4K, que se emite en abierto a trav s del sat lite Hispasat 30W-5.

El objetivo fundamental de todas las actividades del Festival Internacional Hispasat 4K es impulsar la creaci n y exhibici n de contenidos audiovisuales producidos en UHD, la ltima gran revoluci n tecnol gica del sector. Un formato que, al multiplicar por cuatro el n mero de p xeles de una pantalla de alta definici n convencional, permite a los espectadores disfrutar de una experiencia cinematogr fica in dita con una calidad de imagen nunca antes vista.

Ya est en marcha la tercera edici n del certamen. El plazo de inscripci n para todos aquellos cortometrajes que deseen participar finaliza el pr ximo 14 de junio. El festival est abierto a obras producidas a partir del 1 de enero de 2015, de cualquier nacionalidad y g nero, con una duraci n m xima de 25 minutos y que hayan sido grabadas y postproducidas en formato 4K.

This third edition awards gala will take place on 19 October at the Madrid C rculo de Bellas Artes, one of the cultural emblems of the capital.
