Atomos, creator of award winning camera-mounted recorders and recording accessories will be exhibiting at European exhibitions LLB Sweden in Stockholm (17th to 19th March B16: 42) and The Photography Show, Birmingham (21st to 24th March Stand G95).

Atomos recorders have broken new ground in production by combining recording, monitoring, playback and editing all in one easy to operate, portable device. Their award winning recorders capture pristine, uncompressed video straight from the sensor of a DSLR camera or camcorder directly to inexpensive, removable hard drives, in ready-to-edit formats.
Recent announcements at BVE London in February make Atomos the first company to implement Avid DNxHR 4K recording, which in addition to the existing list of world firsts cements the Shogun as the benchmark solution for monitoring and recording 4K for the Pro Video world. Atomos also confirmed that DNxHD recording; 3D LUTs and 4KUHD to HD Down Convert are soon to be included.
With over 10,000 units in use the innovative Shogun is the world s first 4K/HD Monitor/Recorder which includes 12G SDI and 4K HDMI connections, SDI to HDMI & HDMI to SDI conversion, professional monitor pixel density in excess of 300ppi and balanced XLR audio in/out. By adding DNxHR to this list, filmmaking creatives can now work inside an AVID framework with a greater range of resolutions from lightweight yet highly detailed proxies, to mastering-quality HD or 4K.
