Arrow Electronics named new Schneider Electric Elite IT Solutions Provider Partner in Europe after joining the mySchneider IT Partner Program.

New collaboration will empower the channel ecosystem with full-stack distribution model, specialising in on-premises data center solutions and high-density physical infrastructure for artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC) and hybrid-cloud applications.

Next-generation collaboration will also provide managed service providers (MSPs), independent software vendors (ISVs), systems integration, cloud, telco, and enterprise organizations with complete access to Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure sustainability services and software portfolio, enabling customers to meet imminent regulatory requirements.

Schneider Electric, the leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, has today announced that Arrow Electronics, a global provider of technology products specializing in electronic components, enterprise computing and intelligent solutions for industrial and commercial businesses, has become a new Schneider Electric Elite IT Solutions Provider Partner in Europe.

The unique collaboration will future-proof channel partners' ability to meet new and cutting-edge, emerging technologies - empowering the channel ecosystem with a full-stack, specialist European distribution model that delivers sustainable end-to-end solutions for on-premises data centers and high-density physical infrastructure systems, artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC) and hybrid-cloud applications.

Further, the collaboration will provide a new generation of channel partners, including MSPs, ISVs, systems integrators, cloud, telco and enterprise organizations, with complete access to Schneider Electric's industry leading EcoStruxure for Data Centers portfolio, thereby enabling customers to meet imminent regulatory requirements such as the European Energy Efficiency Directive (EED), by utilizing the latest in sustainable, energy efficient and intelligent data center solutions.

Partnering to meet sustainability regulations.

With the European Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) coming into effect in May 2024, partners, and end-users with an installed data center capacity of 500kW and above must begin to disclose their energy performance data, including power-usage effectiveness (PUE) ratings, temperature settings, waste heat, water, and renewable energy consumption. Software, data analytics and machine learning are integral to ensure more simplified and accurate reporting against the new regulations, and for businesses to meet long-term corporate sustainability requirements.
