ATHLOS 2026 Season Set for October Debut in London; Aurora Media Worldwide Named Host Broadcast Partner

ATHLOS, the all-women's professional track and field league, has announced its 2026 season will expand to a two-city format, with an inaugural international stop at StoneX Stadium in London on September 18, 2026, followed by the championship finale at Icahn Stadium in New York City on October 2, 2026.

ATHLOS's broadcast distribution on ESPN, X, YouTube, and ION returns for 2026. Aurora Media Worldwide will serve as host broadcast partner for the season, handling live production, athlete-led storytelling, enhanced graphics, and digital-first coverage.

The 2026 season will award more than $2.1 million in cash prize money across both cities, with per-event prizes of $65,000 (1st), $35,000 (2nd), $20,000 (3rd), $15,000 (4th), $10,000 (5th), and $6,000 (6th). The overall champion in each discipline across both cities will receive an additional $25,000 championship bonus and the Tiffany and Co. crown. For the first time in track and field, eligible participating athletes will also receive equity in ATHLOS.

All seven ATHLOS events return in 2026: the 100m hurdles, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, mile, and long jump. Confirmed athletes for the 2026 season include Olympians Sha'Carri Richardson, Gabby Thomas, Tara Davis-Woodhall, Masai Russell, and Marileidy Paulino. Additional athletes will be announced throughout the summer.

We're raising both the floor and the ceiling on what athletes can earn. Per-event prize money is up significantly, we've added a $25,000 championship bonus for the overall winner of each event, and eligible participating athletes have the opportunity to hold a direct ownership stake in the league they're helping build.
