IMBEWU: THE SEED' CONFIRMS HIS EXIT Sources from Imbewu: The Seed also revealed that Nkanyiso Mchunu complained about being overworked and demanded more money since he was lead.

The show's spokesperson Thapelo Ramatsui confirmed that he'd exited the show following a disagreement with GrapeVine Productions.

He's no longer part of the show. He disagreed with production.

We're not yet equipped with the full details of what happened, but we'll communicate as soon as we are, said Ramatsui.

KAY SIBIYA TO PLAY THE ROLE OF NKULULEKO BHENGU The publication states that Imbewu: The Seed will replace Mchunu with The Wife actor Kay Sibiya.

Sibiya currently plays the role of Sandile in the Showmax telenovela alongside Mbali Mavimbela (Hlomu Zulu).

Mchunu is leaving the show just two months after Muzi Mthabela left the show to join Generations: The Legacy.

Other actors who've recently left the show include actresses Phindile Gwala-Ngadu and Buhle Samuels.

Everyone's leaving the show - and they're not only actors.

Make-up people are also leaving, while support staff, including admin and media relations people, have left too, the source said.

Buhle Samuels reportedly left the show after disagreements over her character's (Zandile) storyline.

Former Muvhango actress Buhle Samuels was replaced with Lithapo actress Angela Sithole.

Actors Fundiswa Zwane who played the first KaMandonsela and Tony Kgoroge who played Ngcolosi also left the show over salary disputes.
